Very old stuff
Here’s a collection of some very old stuff that I for some reason decided to invest my time in…
Please keep in mind. I was ~15 when creating most of these old things. They have not been edited for grammar mistakes or mispellings. I keep this here for historical reasons, not because any of it is worth taking a look at for anyone but me. This is my memory lane, that’s about it.
- Mitch Hedberg Downloads
A collection of Mitch Hedberg TV/Radio-appearances, in honor of his memory. Rest in peace Mitch Hedberg. - Slipknot - Crowz Remasters
I found some old recordings made by Slipknot on the net. And the quality was really crappy. So I did an attempt at remastering them and these are the results. - Rom2.tk - A Rage of Mage 2 fanpage (2002)
I Stopped working on this one after only a few months because the rom2 community was so childish and annoying.. and also.. the game didn’t entertain me that much anymore. - Voodoo2.vze.com - Voodoo2 drivers, utilities & tweaks
A site I made back in 2002 because I just had a voodoo2 card and it was impossible to get it working right on Windows 2000 with the original drivers… So I had to search for 3rd party drivers and such. I thought that no one should have to go through what I did, so I made this website. - Old files
A collection of very, very old files (ranging 1999-2001). In here lies some maps for Unreal Tournament, Elasto Mania, StarCraft, Red Alert and Warcraft II. You can also find a script for Counter-Strike v1.3, some really weird remix songs, and a few old mirc scripts. - Moddev.net articles (2002)
Articles I wrote for the now defunct Moddev.net:- Gamers tweaking guide - Useless today.
- Master Sword 1.1 review (mirror) - A Half-Life mod that actually still has an active community.
- Unreal Editor Base Tutorial (mirror) - UED for UT that is, not UT2k3/UT2k4/UT3. But the basics are probably the same.
- Frag-Energy articles (2001)
Articles I wrote for the also defunct Frag-Energy:- Starcraft UT interview - An Unreal Tournament mod that never made it to release because of copyright issues with Blizzard.
- Marathon|Rampancy - A fairly average and dull Unreal Tournament mod.
- I also did a whole bunch of Counter-Strike custom map reviews along with Assymilator on a sub-site to Frag-Energy. Here’s an example of such a review.
Frag-Energy became fairly popular back in the day, with tens of thousands of unique visits daily around the times when hot articles got posted. With tons of our updates being posted on sites such as PlanetUnreal.
The site went into decline while us content creators where waiting for the owner and admin of the site to finish the new promised design and backend. It took so long for it to get finished that a lot of us just gave up hope and quit. When the site relaunched it needed new staff, but didn’t really get it and that was the end of the saga. I might remember it incorrectly though, I was really suicidally depressed at the time.
